The Technical Counterintelligence Analyst candidate must be capable of working as part of an integrated team or semi-independently, providing directed, focused analyses or reports. Develop (or provide critical assistance in developing) comprehensive technical counterintelligence plans to include threat identification and prioritization, exercise scenarios, schedules, resource identification (including tools and software), analyses of alternatives coordinated with other staff planners to explore alternatives in plans, operations, concepts, organizations, and capabilities in the context of the operational environment and from our partners, adversaries, and other perspectives. Desired skills will include; NSA/CIA level experience, training and education which are variable depending on the actual subject matter field of experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, written communication, and customer relations skills are essential elements of performance.
Prerequisite skills include counterintelligence threat identification, analysis, reporting and resolution.
Other areas of threat-related expertise include; Experience with Agency Offensive and/or Defensive capabilities, operations, systems, and processes including hard target planning and related Counterintelligence counter measures.
Expertise and experience in various technical disciplines which may include; software, hardware, networks, telecommunications, digital forensics, or related fields that might be required for a specific tasking or operational support.
Detailed Knowledge regarding Agency, DOD, and IC sources and methods, databases, tools techniques, capabilities, and capabilities.
Threat-related, foreign source capabilities, tactics, resources, historical activity, and insider threat data of similar nature.
Knowledge regarding Intelligence gaps and Intelligence capabilities against Counterintelligence threats.
Intelligence system tasking and targeting processes and procedures (including HUMINT).
Specific scientific and technical expertise relevant to a perceived or actual threat and assessment/analytical effort.
Detailed understanding of support functions including, logistics, shipping, procurement and related functions including facility/site placement, risks, and weaknesses which provide access points for Counterintelligence threats and exploitations. Some local as needed
